First Graders paint Kandinsky style.

Here's a painting, inspired by Kandinsky, by a first grader! Using Kandinsky's painting as a model, the first graders at Los Penasquitos Elementary worked with watercolors today. They tried mixing colors, seeing what happens with too much or too little water and experimenting with different color combinations. Once we drew the squares and circles in crayon, it was up to them to choose the colors.
