SketchCrawl

A small group from our San Diego SketchCrawl group gathered Saturday in Balboa Park. It was a gorgeous day. I was in a 'fast and loose' sketching mode, or....I was just visiting more than I was drawing!

  2. Love your goats and the red Croc. I blogged today about my red Crocs and posted an acrylic painting. I found you through looking at Danny Gregory's blog (I have 2 of his books) and I love you sketching work. I had no idea what a SketchCrawl was so I've done more reading and subscribed to their feed. One question? How large is the moleskin you work in, for example, for the goats? Your drawing ability is amazing.

  3. Balboa Park is beautiful! Been ages since I visited last though. I love your work. Wish I could do something like that in a fast and loose mode.... Sorry to say that I wouldn`t be close even if I did it in a slow mode ! I`ve tried drawing and sketching from time to time but never really got the hang of it. I have a twin sister and she`s very good at both drawing and sketching and I think that has something to do with me not being good at it. As kids we always competed and that`s not the best way to build your self-confidence. At least not for me....I might be going to the San Diego area next summer. Any chanse of you doing a course.....

  4. Nancy, I use the large watercolor moleskine. 5.25 by 8.25 inches (13 x 21 cm) and I think I'm on my 4th or 5th book!

Jeannette, name the month you'll be in San Diego, and I'll create a workshop!
