Is this true for you?

For me, I don't necessarily set out to do fine and enduring work, but I’m proud to say that some of my days are spend doing just that. Teaching, for instance. Volunteering for San Diego Watercolor Society, San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, Southern Caregiver Resource Center come to mind.
How about you?

  1. I tend to be a perfectionist, and I tend to be hard on myself. While I aspire to "fine and enduring," I have to make sure that I give myself some room to explore, to grow, and to play! I'm constantly trying to find the balance.

I hope to live my life every day as an uplifting presence to others. A warm smile, a kind word, a joke -- I hope that my being me is something fine and enduring. I know, it sounds really self-important, but I believe that if we all realized how truly unique each one of us is, and acted accordingly, the world would be a much better place.

  2. Your teaching is definitely fine and enduring. You inspire me constantly and I'm a better artist for participating in your classes.
