completed kimono for a lesson plan for educators

Here's the kimono artwork (watercolor, wax resist and collage). The lesson is geared towards 3-6th graders, but the plan has adaptations and suggestions for older kids. Email me if you'd like a copy of the lesson plan.

  1. It's just beautiful, poetic somehow.

  2. Gorgeous, Jane! Could I get a copy of the lesson plan?

Also -- when I saw this etsy item, it reminded me of a pomegranate, and hence, of you:

  3. I'd love a copy of that plan, Jane. I have both 4th and 5th grade granddaughters, and they just might be able to do that in class. One daughter is in charge of an art lesson soon -- sooo -- if you can send it to me at huffmanfam@cox.net -- that would be awesome. THANK YOU !! - Davi

  5. I love your kimono and would like a copy of your lesson plan. My theme for the year in art is Japan's culture and its art.
    Thanks,
