Lovely light touch the lilies are a perfect subject for this.
The layering is really interesting to look at. You could just do it right on the same sheet of paper, too, if you wanted.

Yesterday I drew these lilies a couple of different times in different arrangements, all directly with pen and very quickly. In this image, I layered two of the drawings (one is on a transparency)
