Patti Digh, author of "Life is a Verb" and more, came over to our B&B to help celebrate my birthday. She brought wine, snacks, a cake and candles! Fabulous!!!
How cool, Jane! I didn't know you two knew each other, and here I follow the both of you and you two are at the very top of my favorite blogs to follow.....and thus, two of the folks I'd most like to meet one day. (I too contributed illustrations in her last 2 books) I think it would be grand fun if the two of you came out to Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island to do a retreat together - your illustrated journals, and Patti's "verb" philosophy/stories? Lots of beautiful retreat locations out here....can I tempt you? Let me know, and I'll get busy organizing. And....happiest birthday! I hope it was wonderful.
