"India Influence" A spread from my sketchbook. by Jane LaFazio
I love love love taking workshops and classes! A few weeks ago, I took a one day workshop from Orly Avineri . What a joy to spend the day as a student, following Orly's guidance, and working in my sketchbook. (The spread above was influenced by a movie I just saw, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. A FABULOUS movie, set in India. Really, don't miss this movie!)

Hey Jane, Thanks for sharing even though you must be somewhere deep in teaching. Yes, it is fun to take workshops and give them. It looks like you enjoyed the process. Love it, love it! ALSO, saw the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and loved it!
Oh, I loved that movie! Went a couple of weeks ago. Your process and the finished page is really interesting. It's really pretty; I love the colors and textures.
I was wondering the same thing as 'eye-poppers" are these in acrylic or w/c? They look like fabric appliques!! so cool....and 'Exotic'!! (loved that movie!!) :-D
