San Miguel de Allende ~ Dia de los Muertos parade

Dia de los Muertos Parade

There were two processions in San Miguel de Allende during our Tesoro de Corazon mixed media retreat. Each lasted about 15 minutes, but it was a solid 15 minutes of music, dancing, costumes and exuberance!

All ages participated, all in costumes and make up. Families, couples, everyone!

After the parade, they positioned the papier mache costumes in the town square.

  1. Fantastic pictures, Jane! I'm jealous of your trip to San Miguel ... I was there once and it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Didn't see any parades, though, so your trip was well-timed! Thanks for sharing your pictures.
