From my sketchbook ~ how I paint a landscape in watercolor

My husband and I went on a picnic at nearby Lake Poway. That's him below, hauling out food and drinks in our new red wagon. I was carrying my sketchbook!

  1. What a lovely post! Love how you approached it, and the folded paper makes me think how much fun it would be to start adding larger fold-out pages to my sketchbooks.

i hope to share this way of seeing with my most recent students.
There is something so wondrous about including a body of water!

  3. Nice painting. Like the way you handled that dry, rather unattractive landscape, you made it much more appealing. Looks like you guys had a nice morning/afternoon picnic. And I love your new red wagon. :-)
