So, I'm cleaning my studio and I find these old library registration cards ~ a library card collage

This is how it started.... by Jane LaFazio
I was straightening up, in my studio, and came upon a stack of library registration cards I'd rescued from an elementary school free book shelf a bunch of years ago, when I was a visiting artist in the school.

I looked at the titles on the cards, looked into my collage scrap bin....and viola...no more cleaning. I sat down at my studio desk and made four collages. Thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Another card...
Oh, and since I already had turquoise thread in my sewing machine, they are all done with turquoise and that dictated the color scheme...like those things often do.

Did you see how I signed them? With a date stamp and my signature on the card. *smiling*
