I'm very excited to be teaching for the first time at Empty Spools Retreat! It takes place in the phenomenally gorgeous Asilomar Conference Center, set right on the Pacific Ocean.
I'll be teaching during Session 5. A five day workshop April 13-18, 2018.
As you can see, it's a Mixed Media Art Quilt workshop. I'll teach you all kinds of things, so that you can create 3 or more 12x12 inch totally originally art quilts! We'll also be using the beach, pines, flora and fauna of the area, as inspiration.
And, the cost is $1629 per session which includes the five day workshop, all meals and lodging! (that's 2 or more students sharing a room.) $2099. for a single. more details on the Empty Spools site. (And you can rent a sewing machine while you are there!)

I was at Asilomar a few years ago....
(You can fly into The Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is just 8 miles from Asilomar, or the San Jose International (SJC) is 80 miles to the North and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is 110 miles to the North. And, if you're coming from far away, plan on spending some time in beautiful Monterey or fabulous San Francisco!)
