My latest crocheted afghan. 

I used the  Neutral Chevron Blanket pattern, by Rescued Paw Designs and Vanna's Choice Yarn. 

And it's BeBop approved!

Art on Tea Bags.......tiny gifts

A group of friends are doing a tea bag art swap and I needed to make 11 pieces of art on tea bags. This ended up being an easy and perfect theme!

I painted a patch of white watercolor ground, on the bags, and let it dry. Then I went in with pen and watercolor. Then, I used my sewing machine to stitch them onto a another piece of paper and added the little hand painted tag to go with.

I drew this in pencil, added a bit of watercolor. Then drew the details with a tombow pen and blended that with a waterbrush. Jane LaFazio

Husband, Don and I went to a new place in Valley Center, called Brick n Barn. It's know as the old Betty Crocker estate. It's a beautiful tree filled property with a giant barn full of antiques for sale. And, they have a food truck, on location, with coffee etc. 

We had a lovely morning shopping then sitting outside and working in our sketchbooks.
