saluda car in tombow
a car. done with tombow pen
Once I got started drawing the city scape, I realize I didn't know how to draw tiny cars. So I did this one with a water soluble pen, on the back of the page. So now, just maybe, cars will appear in my sketchbook. Who knows when people will!

Where did you find the tiny covered palatte?? It is perfect for road trips, etc. I've never seen one.

  5. ahhhh, what fond memories! Weren't the Hosta spectacular? I have them in my garden too, but for some reason, they looked nicer in Saluda!

I've made a Dick Blick shopping list, so that next time we are in that part of Atlanta, I will be shopping!!

Thanks again for the awesome classes! It was so much fun, and I learned so much! I sketched and painted this AM!

  6. Jane- Love seeing your sketchbook pages. They really give a sense of where you have been, which is always a goal of mine as well. I noticed that your pages are loose out of the sketchbook. Can I ask why you do that?? Do you find it easier to paint that way?

  8. Sue, see the post below. My sketchbook is huge, and taking out a few pages makes it easier to schlep. and in the previous post, we printed on the pages too.
