Inspired by Lynn Krawczyk’s new book, Intentional Printing: Simple Techniques for Inspired Art Fabric, I used some of my mono-printed and stamped fabric to create Petite Stacked Collages, from her book.
Draw, stamp, screen print and more to create gorgeous art cloth with the help of surface design artist Lynn Krawczyk’s new book, Intentional Printing: Simple Techniques for Inspired Art Fabric (Interweave/F+W Media; $26.99.) |
And a give away! Leave a comment and I'll choose a random winner for a copy of Lynn Krawczyk's book. (Sorry, USA only.)
I created some foam stamps to use on gelli printed fabric!
I cut up some felt, to create the backing for small cloth collages. I had some cute, very inexpensive notebooks, and created these little collages for the covers. (Also a Lynn Krawczyk’s idea, in the recent Quilting Arts magazine.)
I free motioned stitched, using the design on the cover of the notebooks for inspiration.
In progress, just machine stitching, no hand stitching yet. (by Jane LaFazio) |
