On Location: Coffee shop
I'm setting a good example for my students in my online class, Sketching & Watercolor: Journal Style ON LOCATION. We're in week two, and the location this week is a coffee shop. One of my students chose to draw a cute dog biscuit rather than order something with too many calories. Clearly, not my MO. (method of operation.) And yes, husb is by my side, also fulfilling one of my New Year's words.

I don't think I could have waited long enough to sketch that yummy treat before I took a bite!
ReplyDeleteCindy took the words right out of my mouth! It makes my morning oatmeal look pretty bleak. That is one color filled table.
ReplyDeleteIf a person like myself can't draw, the coffee shop offers wonderful alternatives. Yumm. I could drown my sorrows in a wonderful strawberry tart thing. Or lemon cake.
ReplyDeleteclearly, a yummy thing to draw and eat!
ReplyDeleteOMG! do you have to put this right in front of us? and what a pretty painting too !
ReplyDeleteLove your sketch. And the treat looks yummy too.
ReplyDeleteyummy to both of them......
ReplyDeleteOh yum! I need to get out my watercolors...
ReplyDeleteRobin says: Im thinking about sketching again. Your sketch looks better than the real thing. So I think sketchig makes your life more. I look forward to that. Thank-you.
