Jane, so interesting to hear how you view your own work.
I especially enjoyed your comment that you have realized that you have a distinct style that is recognizably your own artistic voice. I had the same feeling about my work after broadening my mixed media as well, and then about a year ago when I hung a show and saw it all together I realized that my work, like yours, has its own well defined voice.
What fun to be able to study techniques from all over but be confident knowing that the art will still turn out very uniquely "you." How wonderful it is to be able to draw, paint, stitch, letter, print, and make all sorts of art, and to have developed that unique voice that still grows and changes but retains its essence.
I enjoyed your interview! Hope the classes go wonderfully. Love it that you're doing another trip abroad, too!
