ReplyDeleteCongratulation to You and Don! Last week we celebrated our 40th anniversary of our first blind date! 1977 must have been a very good year!! Now we celebrate daily!!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your wedding story! Hubby and I married in '78 at the Heart of Reno Chapel. I wore blue jeans and we're still together, too. Ain't life grand - through sorrows and laughter? May you have many more years with your wonderful guy.

ReplyDeleteHi Jane. I stumbled upon your web site while looking back and researching where my wife and I were married. It was in 1982. I was stationed at Vanderburgh AFB in Cali. She lived in Ohio. I met her while visiting my sister when on leave from my tech school to Vandenburgh. We hit it off instantly! We continued our "cross country relationship" for about a year when one time she came out and I said, "this enough of the traveling"! Let's get married! So, we drove to Lake Tahoe. I went into Carson city to get a marriage license and went to the "Chapel of Love" and got hitched! The rest is history! 41 years, four children, nine grandchildren later and we are still together...Something about that place I'm sure you can agree! Be well! Regards, Jay
