My friends and I (Tesoro del Corazon) are teaching a mixed media art retreat in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, during Dia de los Muertos October 28-November 5, 2014. We taught their last year, during Day of the Dead and it was simply beautiful.
Jane, what did you carve into... I can't tell from the photo, looks wonderful! and great fun.
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors and festivities Jane! Can't wait for next year's Totem de Vida retreat!
ReplyDeleteLoved your pictures from Escondido's Dia de los Muertos celebration..Can't wait to do it again in San Miguel next year!!
ReplyDeleteI spent ten years in San Antonio, Texas, and was always fascinated by the Dia de los Muertos celebrations. It has so much more meaning and makes so much more sense than our Halloween! I visited San Miguel de Allende in college, and LOVED it there...what a treat it would be to make art with you there!
