  24. LOVE your Lily page!!! I've followed you for quite a while now. I LOVE all your work. Just wish I knew how to sew! Ha. But I DO work in watercolors & I ALWAYS need more stencils! Who doesn't need more stencils!

  25. I learned the order of creating the Stargazer lily from your tutorial. Thanks for that. I've had problems painting anthers and now I think I can do that by painting them first as was shown. Because of your quick tutorials, I'm trying new materials and exploring new methods.

    1. Julie, I don't wash my stencils. I just leave the gesso on there. Doesn't seem to make any difference cuz it dries pretty permanent.

  48. This stencil collection looks like great fun. I have oodles of supplies, but only a few stencils. I do enjoy them to help create more texture and design, but I'm still pretty new and learning.....thanks to a Make It University sessions with you years ago. I think I painted my first Stargazer Lily in that class and thoroughly loved it. :)

  66. I'm always enjoying your soft sketch artwork. The detailed black outlines with the soft watercolors give this a dreamy look and the stenciled background compliments it perfectly. Not too light or too dark...just right! :)

  67. I am planning a fabric surface design process for a group of seniors I work with and these would be great for creating some custom quilt blocks. I love the watercolor effect that can be obtained. It would be a great process for expressing the seasons.
