I'm working on lessons for Mundo Lindo, and that involves learning about and drawing the birds highlighted at Escondido Children's Museum. I'm painting these from photographs, which I don't usually like to do, but clearly, it's the only way to accomplish this. I'm having great fun with this project and hopefully will now recognize a Bushtit, from a Wrentit from an Orange Crowned Warbler!

  1. Jane, your blog is beautiful. I'm so impressed with your drawing and painting ability! It is always a pleasure to visit!

  2. I just want to reach out and hold the birdy in my hand. I can almost feel it's rapid little heart and warm feathers! So beautiful Jane!

  3. these birds are just lovely...great work...i know the kids enjoyed the class...

Thanks so much for visiting!
