I'm going to Cleveland next week to film for Quilting Arts TV. I'm doing two segments for the TV show, and of course, I'm thrilled, but as the date gets closer, I'm getting nervous.
I'll be doing a paper on cloth segment-10 minutes long!-and here's one the finished pieces. Now that I look at it, I think I need to fatten up the quail legs. (yes, Davi! I'll give you first choice on all my quail pieces :-) And I'm also doing a 5 minute segment on organza. Working on both, right up to the last minute!
You are going to be great! I adore your quail, when can we look for him (or a twin) on etsy?
ReplyDeleteBuena suerte!
The quail is wonderful. I think the proportions of the legs are just right and his big ole feet are so sweet! Plus love that analogous color scheme. It really ties it together. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteLove the blue quail....sign me up for an etsy quail too!

Enjoy your trip. Have fun and be safe.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be surprised how fast it goes. Remember, you're taping it, if things don't feel right you can start again. Remember to breath. I know you're not afraid of the camera so there's no problem there. Would have been fun to run camera for you on this....just don't roll off the set! It'll be great, just another classroom only with brighter lights. You'll do fine! Have some stuff done in various stages so they can see how it looks as you go. I remember Martha before she was MARTHA, you're waay better than that. Have fun.
