I taught last Saturday at California Center for Creative Renewal in Encinitas, Ca. Sketching and Watercolor: Journal Style. 22 students and a beautiful, clear day!

Some of the students work above.

Then, on Monday I taught Monoprinting using my fave Gelli Plates, at Visions Quilt Museum. (another gorgeous location for a workshop!)

Here's the begining stages of Jo's prints (above). It's all about layering

And Kay's (above)

And Lisa's (above)

Claire-Lise Matthey Anderegg worked with this wonderful stencil from Stencil Girl Products

And created her usual fabulous work!

What beautiful surroundings for both workshops! It is always fun to see what students produce. It sparks the teacher's creativity too doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteMiss you! Love seeing this stuff!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful the classes look, especially as it is very windy, cold and wet in the UK. Lucky students.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Claire-Lise Matthey Anderegg link.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work...
