Jane - If anyone ever chooses "eyes" as a sketchbook monthly topic you MUST sketch your cat's beautiful eyes!!!
Beautiful colors.... I like the glow on the vellum.
I just love this layered vellum technique. It's just adds so much to the painting. Oh...and I LOVE your kitty, too. What a beauty!
Wonderful vines and the vellum layering is brilliant! I find myself with recurring themes- it's how we master a subject is my view on it. Btw while in Phoenix last month on a hike I saw a seed pod on the trail my first thought was "Jane would love this!!"
Hi Jane,Your vines are beautiful. What medium did you use on the vellum? I've always loved the transparency of vellum.
thanks!! Sharon, I used ink and color pencil on the vellum.
simply must give this a whirl...your layers and tape are my favorite! beautiful work, jane
I do really like the layered look of the vellum on your page. I was fascinated with the wild pea vines at my in laws last year and I'm just waiting for them to reappear this summer.
I do love your vines and pages but me thinks the beautiful blue eyes of your kitty is trying to steal the show!
I love your comments, so please do write a little something...I so appreciate you visiting my blog! (and please be patient, I need to approve each comment to reduce spam.)xo Jane
