moon bowls


I posted this on social media a month or so ago.
I'd just returned from a weekend workshop with Roxanne Evans Stout, and made the cool book on the left. When I got home, and set the book on my coffee table, low and behold, I noticed the bowl of fruit that I'd set out weeks before.

Then, I signed up for Tonia Jenny's online workshop, last week, and made these Moon Bowls and look at the colors!

    Thank you Jane for showing different ways to be creative! I love your moon bowls, how did you get the beautiful peachy color? I would like to make these bowls and would love to know how to get the same color effect!

    Hi Jane, did you use watercolors to tint the peachy color in your bowls? They are so pretty and I would love to make some of these for Christmas presents! Thanks!

      I used acrylics. A kind of yellow ochre and magenta, mixed and rubbed. Thanks!!
