Villa Carlotta on Lake Como Italy

We visited Villa Carlotta for an afternoon of sketching and watercolor in the gardens.

And I took a walking tour of the gardens at Villa Serbelloni and of course had to do a Yoga Pose in Public Places!

We stayed in Bellagio, on the shore of Lake Como, Italy. The views were spectacular.

We painted in outdoor cafes.

We painted in the hotel.

We ate.

We drank. 

We watched the sunset from the roof top patio of the hotel.

Villa Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy

I'm just back from teaching on Lake Como, Italy. The day before my peeps arrived, I visited Villa Balbianello. 




I took the Bellagio Water Limousine Villa tour in this cool hand made wooden boat.




On the way, the boat guy pointed out the other villas on the lake. Above is Richard Branson's Villa. It's for rent, at $120,000 a week, by the way.

The grounds are simply stunning and of course the view is incredibly beautiful!



I love visiting homes and well, villas, when I travel, and this one was a highlight of the trip.



The weather on Lake Como was perfect!
