Well, technically, yesterday. Lunch and a trip to the Mingei Museum to see some incredible origami.

I have a new idol. Paul Madonna thanks to Martha. His new book, All Over Coffee, seen here is gorgeous and fascinating. I'm originally from the San Francisco bay area, so his work really speaks to me. I'd go so far as to say that he's our west coast version of Danny Gregory and Tommy Kane!

  1. Yum! That's a tasty-looking veggie sandwich. I'll have one with iced tea also! The lion drawing is fascinating. It must have been fun keeping up with the different planes and the shading.

  2. Jane, that origami show is just amazing. As is this site by the origami master Robert Lang. You will need to pack a sandwich to keep you going through his gret site, but there is much inspiration there. Hope you will be including origami in the kids classes. They can be very good at it.

Thanks so much for visiting!
