In San Diego, different neighborhoods will often contract artists to paint the utility boxes. Here's my design. The boxes can be as big as 65" tall. I'll find out in July if I'm chosen.

jane, your artwork would certainly serve to hedge, even increase the property values of those neighborhoods wherein THE utility boxes reside.
