Here's the kimono artwork (watercolor, wax resist and collage). The lesson is geared towards 3-6th graders, but the plan has adaptations and suggestions for older kids. Email me if you'd like a copy of the lesson plan.
I'd love a copy of that plan, Jane. I have both 4th and 5th grade granddaughters, and they just might be able to do that in class. One daughter is in charge of an art lesson soon -- sooo -- if you can send it to me at huffmanfam@cox.net -- that would be awesome. THANK YOU !! - Davi
I love your kimono and would like a copy of your lesson plan. My theme for the year in art is Japan's culture and its art. Thanks, Beth ecunningham@Ridgefield.org
It's just beautiful, poetic somehow.
ReplyDeleteI would love a copy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Jane! Could I get a copy of the lesson plan?
ReplyDeleteAlso -- when I saw this etsy item, it reminded me of a pomegranate, and hence, of you:

ReplyDeleteI would love a copy of the lesson plan if you still have it. We are doing a unit of japan next week!
