so very Chinese New Year

More fun with the vaseline technique from yesterday. Doesn't this shout Gung Hay Fat Choy! Next week is Chinese New Year and begins the year of the Tiger. And I'm a Tiger (and a Libra) so it's gonna be my year! What's your Chinese zodiac sign?

  1. Snake. Make mine a loop-do-loop one - it looks more creative.

  6. I'm an Aries (ram) and year of the Goat. SO happy I got to see you demo the vaseline technique in class today! The piece shows up pretty good online though. So cool and easy - can't wait to try it!

  7. love that process, Jane - thanks for sharing it in class on Monday! I was born in the year of the DOG (which is about as perfect for me as horse would have been ...) and I am a Capricorn (goat), except I'm on the cusp w/ Sagittarius (12/22) -- "the hunter and the centaur, a mythical half-man, half-horse. This sign symbolizes the search for wisdom; this is the sign of the philosopher and the explorer. They have an appetite for learning and travel." THAT FITS !!
