I love these! And I'm intrigued by the white pen! Have you tried it on fabric, or is it best on paper? I'm always looking for ways to highlight over my dyed fabrics, but want to retain the soft hand of the fabric... might have to give one of these a try! Can't wait to see what you do with your wonderful paper cloth!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I made a stack of gelli prints too. So much fun. I made mine on card stock and have used some for greeting cards but I'm wanting to make art with the prints.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - have to make some gelli prints now!
ReplyDeleteDelicious! I love your work. It's bright and happy and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane
ReplyDeleteNice write-up about you and your work in the Quilting Daily newsletter today. What fun!
Andrea
I love this idea - I also made a bunch of prints and I gessoed 2 old book covers & printed on them for a gelli print journal - but I love your idea and may be working on something similar. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the creativity
Oh, I adore this and this idea! I'd love to try it with my Gelli prints. A couple of questions if you wouldn't mind answering to help the project along for me: what do you mean when you say you "added a wash" and what is the "white pen". I'm a novice at this paper art thing but I'm really enjoying the process and some of the collage art I've created. The reward of the personal expression is outstanding. For one who has struggled with lack of self esteem issues for life, discoveries in my abilities in artful expressions has been therapeutic. Blogs like your are true blessings in the process. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteJulie, click on the words 'white pen' and there is a link to what I mean. A wash of color, is paint diluted with water. have fun!
ReplyDeleteWanna white pen. . .don't know why, just do. Is there no end to your creativity, energy, etc. You are Yogalicious and Husb is adorable.
