Here's part two of how I make an art quilt. You can see how I started this here. I've cut it into strips, then into squares.

Then, I stitch on the individual squares.

I made the palm trees, by printing one of my drawings onto fusible webbing, and then cutting them out and fusing them to a couple of the squares.

    Oh I like this idea! I am definitely going to give this a go! I hope I am brave enough to cut it up. Are they all squares and what sort of size?

      Hi Alison, yes, for this method, all the squares are the same size.
