rabbit collection_LaFazio

I am sooooooo excited!! I've got a Spoonflower Jones big time! Yup, I downloaded images from my watercolor sketchbooks and they make it into fabric!! I immediately ordered 4 yards, each with a different design. Totally cool! I'm very happy with Rabbit Collection and my mind is reeling with ideas. I could dye it, I could quilt it, I could make a shirt (well, have someone sew a shirt for me) I could make pillows or tote bags.

  2. How great is that? Very exciting idea to create your own fabric from your own art work. You really make me want to learn to sew!

  7. Wonderful! You can make amazing outfits so that everywhere you go you are a walking advertisement for your art work!

I remember reading how Kaffe Fassett saw his sweater coats as more than garments--they were three-dimensional works of art, and he loved to see them move and change on the wearer.

  8. Very cool. How about art aprons or smocks for adults and kids? We need a great long apron design for mosaics (no pockets please!). Recycled grocery bags. Get the fabric coated like the cool Mexican oilcloth! Boxer shorts. Beach cover-ups. Wow!! Tons of uses!! Go Jane!

I just got some back from Spoonflower too, and was jumping up and down. It's easy to go crazy over there!
