Wonderful vines and the vellum layering is brilliant! I find myself with recurring themes- it's how we master a subject is my view on it. Btw while in Phoenix last month on a hike I saw a seed pod on the trail my first thought was "Jane would love this!!"
I do really like the layered look of the vellum on your page. I was fascinated with the wild pea vines at my in laws last year and I'm just waiting for them to reappear this summer.
Jane - If anyone ever chooses "eyes" as a sketchbook monthly topic you MUST sketch your cat's beautiful eyes!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors.... I like the glow on the vellum.
ReplyDeleteI just love this layered vellum technique. It's just adds so much to the painting. Oh...and I LOVE your kitty, too. What a beauty!
