Just got back from the Studio Art Quilt Associates/Surface Design conference in Philadelphia. These were blooming everywhere, along with daffodils, against the pale greys of the landscape.
I have one of these in the garden, I bought it because I saw loads of them, like you did, all over the place with daffodils for company. I love how it brightens the garden after the colder seasons start to fade.
