Everyday Objects~ day five

I bought this handmade teacup in Japan when I visited there in the late 1980s. I've had it 'on display' since then. As I looked around for everyday objects to draw, I realized this cup SHOULD be an everyday object, so now (at last!) I'm using it for tea.

    Oh Jane, I'm glad you got this lovely cup off the shelf. I love the blacks and you totally fooled me with the "real" tea tag! OK I'm off to have a cup of tea and sketch my everyday object.
