My friend, Melly Testa, has breast cancer. She is currently going through treatment. A group of us made her this quilt, to wrap herself in during chemo. Melly calls it 'the quilt of pure love" and she's right.
Those of us who made blocks were me (here's mine), Lyric Kinard, Judy Coates Perez and her daughter Nina, Kelli Nina Perkins, Tracie Lyn Huskamp, Alisa Burke, Gloria Hansen, Jill Berry, Carla Sondheim, Diana Trout, Pokey Bolton, Jamie Fingal, and Leslie Tucker Jenison.
Hold Melly in your thoughts, and send her messages of healing.
What a stunning quilt. It certainly is a quilt of love. Beautiful!

Jane, The quilt is beautiful, revealing everyone's talent. More than anything, it shows how thoughtful all the contributing artists are. I can barely stitch on a button right now, but I got your DVD and am working towards being able to encourage and support Melly during her ordeal with at least a fabric postcard soon. Thanks for your part in helping me express my wish for her speedy return to the 'pink' of health. Ambal
