Farmers Market
Farmers Markets are always a wonderful source of inspiration. Husb and I go to our local one on Friday mornings.
Even though I photoed the flowers, I brought them home and drew from real life.
And yes, the perfect use for my Polaroid Pogo printer!
Pages like these, for traveling are going to be some much fun! If you're going to Orvieto, Italy in May or the South of France in September with me next year, we'll be visiting, drawing and eating at the local farmers markets.
Meanwhile, visit your local farmers market with your camera and your sketchbook.

Beautiful photos and beautiful art work!
ReplyDeleteJane, your Farmer's Market flower is even prettier than the original. It's impressive. I LOVE it!

Yummilicious Jane...as always! :)
ReplyDeleteLook at those heirloom tomatoes! And they taste as good as they look. Beautiful!
ReplyDelete(ha ha -- my verification word is "pregly" -- sounds like a description of someone who is just starting to show: "She's a little pregly")
How wonderful to do that on Friday mornings. The photos are beautiful but your water colors are just stunning. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I have always wandered through our farmers' market as well, snapping away. The Hispanic ladies seem to get a real kick when the "crazy lady" snaps her pics of lettuce and the like. Loving the journal as well!
