Art Aprons
Oh, did you know I have an instructional DVD called "From Art to Art Journaling."
and that you can buy the DVD or download? You do now... (!)
I printed out the image of my DVD on to fabric prepared for inkjet printing, and then fused and stitched and did a little free motion onto my aprons. (The one on the right is made from my spoonflower fabric.)
I'll be wearing one of these aprons and teaching in Pasadena at the Learning and Product Expo on Friday, October 28. Mixed Media collage in the morning and Illustrated Journaling with Strathmore Visual Journals in the afternoon. (and ALL the materials for the class are included!)

How lovely! (Self-protection & Self-promotion, all in one go!) having not managed to catch a workshop with you in person YET, I have the download of your video -- love, Love, LOVE the journaling watercolor style! I dearly hope you are returning to Saluda, NC, next year :-)
ReplyDeleteAs you know I love your dvd, but I really love the aprons! Great idea Jane.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...too stinkin cute:) Love them both. Now off to check out your DVD;)
ReplyDeleteHope to see this cute apron in person at the 9/28 "Watercolor Journaling" class at Portland's Art and Soul retreat. I've been waiting a long time to take a class with you, and it's nearly here!
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about selling this apron on etsy? (Or as a give-away? But only if I'm the winner!!!)
It's a fabulous DVD Jane!
ReplyDeleteJane, I loved your apron when I saw it last week. I didn't realize that the fabric is from spoonflower and is your own design. I should have known! Wonderful apron and wonderful Lavender Sage Image Gathering and Harvesting retreat (http://lavendersageartretreats.blogspot.com/) with Pamela Underwood!
