ReplyDeleteI've tried gelatin printing...it's addictive but I have yet to take the results further. Your work is inspiring !
ReplyDeleteyes, it's the time problem for me, but dying to try this.

ReplyDeleteHI Jane.. I just read about the new printing plate too.. would be so nice to have something like for more on the go type of printing.
ReplyDeletei have not tried this but am very interested in learning how to...would love a new avenue!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try one of these plates!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE LOVE LOVE the Gelli plate. Pick me!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane for the opportunity.
After reading your previous post on gel printing I found some video tutorials to see how it is done but haven't tried out the technique yet. It definitely is on my "to do" list! You're definitely right -- TIME is important!!
ReplyDeleteI just love printing fabric, paper, anything, so I would love the Gelli plates.
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed I'm the lucky winner, I would love to win this and work on my technique!
ReplyDeleteI"d love to win this plate. Your work always inspires me and I'd love to be able to try something similar (I already have the 200 count muslin and lots of embroidery floss---this may be the one last thing I need to 'be like Jane.'
ReplyDeleteI would be very happy to win. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI did some monoprinting this summer and it was my surface technique of choice. I had done some before and found it less than exciting but this time was different. I used thickened dyes applied to a plexiglass plate. I've heard about the gelli plates and they sound interesting, especially the reusable part. Count me in for the drawing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win:) I love trying out new art supplies!
ReplyDeleteOne of those little plates ready to go at anytime would be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the gelli plate!
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOUR ART and would love to have a gel plate!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an interesting process, and I am a fan of your art!
ReplyDeleteIf I win one of these, my husband can stop asking me what that dried up stuff is in the basement refrigerator...ok, I meant to do some more printing and just forgot it...for a long time. Have you ever SEEN a dried up gel plate?
ReplyDeletewhat a cool giveaway. I would love to try this technique. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI have BUTTONS....but haven't tried the monoprinting.... would love to.. I have long admired your works ..would love to win! Thanks for your generousity to all of us fans. ~Midge
ReplyDeleteYou are my new hero. I am planning a green wedding for my daughter. What better to do some printing on table linens than a gelli plate. Green and greener.
ReplyDeleteWould love to try this new product. It looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYour offer of a prize makes my
ReplyDeleteheart shout hoo-ray.
The fact that it is a
a gel plate is just
sooo great.
Your artistry and your
generosity are more

Love your monoprinting! Would love to win a gel plate that doesn't melt!
ReplyDeleteThis is uber cool - love it, and love your work! And yes, would love to win, but the real prize is being inspired by such great art!!
ReplyDeleteI did some scratch foam printing earlier this summer and I was so much fun. I'd love to try the gelli plate! You make it look like soooo much fun!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd LOVE to try one! My daughter (who is five) and I do printing all the time using wax paper, baking pans, glass cutting boards, etc. How neat!
ReplyDeleteI would love to own a gelli plate! The thought of not having to mess with jello and print on a whim is enticing. Thanks for the opportunity, Jane.
ReplyDeleteI have a frig full of dyes, so adding a real gelatin plate in there starts to squeeze out the yogurt and lettuce space. I need this Gelli thing ... to preserve my committment to healthy eating. Yeah, that's why I need it, saving space for the good stuff in the frig. :O)
ReplyDeleteYum, I love mono printing and these sure beat having to make geletin. Thanks for a shot at the give away.
ReplyDeleteI would really love the Gelli plate. I watch your blog all the time, always in lurk mode. But I love your work. You inspired me to buy watercolors and fling them around on paper. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAnother great project from you, Jane. I have done some gelatin printing by making my own plates, but it seems so wasteful since the plates have a limited life. The Gelli plate seems a much better idea.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of not having to wait for the gelatin to set up. I would love to try this Gelli plate. Thanks for hosting this giveaway and for showing off your beautiful work,
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win such a plate! I've done all sorts of drawing, painting, embroidery, knitting, croch... You get the picture! I'm now busy, busy sewing but always find time for at least a little digital art. I have printed in many ways during my 56 years but this way really has me intrigued!
ReplyDeleteOf course your art work in this post checks many places as it has both prints, stitches and buttons - love it!
And your wee tuts are most appreciated, I will have to get my hands on some tissue paper of the bleeding variety...
Best regards from Eva Mari in Norway :D
Hiya, Jane! I was just looking at gelli plates the other day, thinking of trying them. This would be the perfect trial run. Your use of them is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab prize to win. I was just looking into these, and would love to win.
ReplyDeleteJane--I love the colors and texture in this piece. Bella!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen these...they look cool. would love to try it. thanks for the opportunity to win one.
ReplyDeleteStunning piece! I love it! The colors are very warm and the whole piece has a nice and warm feeling. Thanks for the chance to win a gelatin plate. :)
ReplyDeleteJust wondering what size the prayer flags are and coudn't comment on that site. They look larger than 5x11". Love the gel print too!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do want to win a gelli plate..thanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteJane the little varying coloured buttons really enhance your fabric art piece; yes, little new blooms taking shape. A gel plate; MY, I could have fun with one of those too.
ReplyDeleteThose green buttons on those funny trees make me smile. Thanks for the chance to win a Gelli, would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteDonna
Jelly on a plate jelly on a plate,
ReplyDeleteWibble wobble jelly on a plate.
Oh no wrong sort of gelli.
We usually have ours after dinner with ice cream.
But this one is less fattening and far more exciting.
Ooh pick me Jane, that way I won't get fat !!!!! Haha
I have tried printing with a homemade gelatin plate. I loved the results and it was great fun. However, having to plan ahead to make the gelatin plate is the reason I haven't done more of it. I would love to win a Gelli Plate! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win. I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI too would love a gelli plate, I love using gelatin plates that I have made, but they are a bit of a pain to store and remember to make ahead of time. These sound wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGelatin plates give amazing results, but a bit of caution, and storage space in the fridge, make them a bit troublesome. A gelli plate might be just the kind of jiggle I would like in my life. Jelly belly, bad jiggle, gelli plate, GOOD jiggle.
ReplyDeleteMF
I learn so much from you I love your work and think I can identify what is yours when seen in a group of other artists work.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a gelli plate. I have not tried that yet.
OMG...i would love a gelli plate! I've been looking at them since you first mentioned them on your blog. I would love to try printing on one!
ReplyDeleteI would really love to work with a gelli plate. I am currently doing mono prints using a press and plexiglass plates and I'd really like to try something that doesn't need a press to create the image. Additionally, I like the look of the gelli print as it seems to have a different quality to the print. Your blog has inspired several of my images as I ordered several of the stencils after seeing them here.
ReplyDeleteI am a quilter and have just begun to experiment with mixed mediums. Your art work is very inspiring to me.
ReplyDeleteI have the bio-colors and I would love to have the Gelli-plate. Thank you so much for your give away. I will be sure to check back on Sunday to see if I have won!! Keep on creating your beautiful things!!

ReplyDeleteI love this new piece Jane! It's creating an interesting emotion within... and reminding me of a trip to Santa Fe several years ago. Thank you for triggering that memory. :-) It was a happy, happy trip. Thank you also for the chance to win a Gelli plate. I have both sizes on my wish list! Yum!
ReplyDeleteLove those buttons - look like spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, I love your work and the way the colours blend together! I had a look at the instruction video of the gel-plate and I would LOVE to try it out. It would be very interesting to try out on felt as well!
ReplyDeleteI teach this, but use the now "old-fashioned" gelatin plate (and have to supply them for all my students!!!). So you can probably imagine that the gelli plate option looks like a better alternative from my viewpoint!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of your work. Beautiful project as usual. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love your monoprints and love to print myself. A permanent gel plate sounds heavenly.
ReplyDeleteWow... love the book in their Gallery section on their website.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane
