Lesson 1: Sketching and Watercolor: Journal Style |
I've revamped my online class for beginners with a new format/venue that is very visual and wonderfully interactive. Here are two screen shots of what you will see online when you are a student in Sketching and Watercolor: Journal Style. There will be some videos, pdfs of lessons like this one and it will be easy to see on comment on your fellow students work, and they on yours. I've limited it to 50 students, and there are about 15 spots left. (I will run the class again in the spring.) I'm also working on new classes and to revamp my others. It's exciting!! Hope to see you online! All the details of the class are here.
You'll post your work, like this, and we will comment right below it. |
Format is 24/7 and you can access the lessons anytime. A new lesson will be released each week. The class will remain open for 8 weeks and I'll comment on every page you do! (You'll need to photograph or scan your work and download it to the lesson page. It's easy!)
Your class sounds like fun and so informative. I used that same line in my newly published book, "One Fish Taco and Half an Order of Guacamole A Year of Drawing Over Lunch at Tacos Jalisco", draw what you see! I think I heard that from Danny Gregory; and from a workshop teacher in a class called 'Draw Without Fear' a few years ago. It's the best advice so I put it in my book too!
ReplyDeleteYou answered my question in your post. I have wanted to take this class for over a year, but my Dad had a bad stroke and I am living 2/3 of my time far from home. Hopefully, all will be back to "normal" in the spring and I'll see you then!
