Pine Cone Stencil (S367) for StencilGirl Products by Jane LaFazio |
I love using stencils on fabric! Here's how I created a set of napkins using the pine cone stencil I designed.
I used liquid acrylic ink and cosmetic sponges to apply the color through the stencil. |

Use different colors to created this lovely variety in the color |
I used plain cotton, 200 thread couut |
Once I was done stenciling and the ink was dry, I decided to dip the whole piece of cloth in coffee to tint it. After the coffee was dry, I washed the fabric in the washing machine on gentle cycle.
Then, I tore the fabric into napkin size squares and hemmed the edges. |
