Inspired by my uber-talented friend, Alisa Burke, and her online class, I painted these dishes as Christmas presents for my friends. Doodling on white dishes from an import store. I used these pens, and then baked the dishes for 30 minutes at 300 degrees.
These look great, Jane! I'm going to do this with my class for Mother's day this year -- The kids are 6 and 7 -- do you think that I should buy fine or broad points? What did you use? ~the canadian martha :)
How fun! What a fabulous gift. Totally love this concept.
ReplyDeleteVraiment magnifique ! Il doit être très plaisant de recevoir ses amis avec une aussi jolie vaisselle...
ReplyDeleteGros bisous à vous et encore tous mes voeux pour 2013.
They look great Jane.
ReplyDeleteSimply Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Did you use the undercoat? What kind of brush did you use? Janet Wright
ReplyDeleteNo brush, the pens are like markers and you just shake em, then draw with them. no undercoat. Let dry for 72 hours, then bake 300 degrees for 30 min.
ReplyDeleteI love them, I bet they were thrilled to receive them, after you bake on them, you can use them
