Paisley has always been one of my fave patterns and yours is just gorgeous, so inspiring. I finally bought some vellum last week to give your great idea a try. I love that layered look and the way it adds such fun depth. Thanks for sharing your talent!
I love these! Your work is so vibrant and fun!!! Thanks so much!! You give me incentive to try it!
Hi Jane, I'm new to your blog and I just love these patterns. They are so bright and colorful. I'm heading over to the tutorial to check out how you do this layering. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
So pretty, colorful, and fresh! Your work is always so free and easy and confident. I love that so much!MF
Jane... I love this!! XO!
De très jolies esquisses... J'aime aussi énormément l'harmonie des couleurs...Gros bisous, je vous souhaite beaucoup de bonheur et de santé en ce jour de 1 mai.
Ditto to all the above! Paisley has been a favorite design of mine since I was a little girl, and you have taken it to a wonderful new level!
I learned in college that paisley is the oldest print made by humans. If you curl up your hand into a fist, the pattern the heel of your hand makes as it goes toward the little finger is a paisley shape... People used to stamp patterns like that on their fabrics/leather with berry juice. try it! You will see it is true!See how well my education prepared me to meet the needs of the 21st century? LOL
Your paisleys are absolutely yummy!!!! Fabulous!!
Mmmmm... I love paisleys. I really like the layering with them, too.
MARVELOUS!!! How do you get around to reading all the comments?
These layered things are getting so much better. I really like the way the velum layer works with the under layer.
Gorgeous- love the layering, design and colors and ink line combinations!
Any chance you sell this as a wallpaper? i'd love to line the risers of my stairs with it!
